Please note:  The Opal Player is not supported under Windows Vista

 

If the Opal Player does not startup in the browser window:

 

-or-

  • A firewall is blocking port 6725. If there is a firewall between you and the Internet, please insure that it is configured to allow communication through port 6725 and that there are no protocol restrictions on that port.

-or-

  • If you use Netscape version 6, please email us and we will send you a patch to allow the Opal Player to load.

 

If you use a proxy server or continuously receive message “services not available now”:

 

If you receive the message "The connection with the server has been reset... please verify your Internet connection and your proxy settings".

 

  • Select "Internet Options" on your browser and delete the temporary internet files.

If you receive the message "The data that the plugin requested, did not download successfully".

 

  • Select "Internet Options" on your browser and delete the temporary internet files.
